Tim Russ, best-known for his role as Commander Tuvok on Star Trek Voyager, recently helped make a real-world discovery about space — an asteroid traveling around the Sun with Jupiter.
The asteroid Patroclus (pah-TRO-klus) was found by Russ, together with five other citizen scientists, assisting NASA in planning the upcoming Lucy mission to the Trojan asteroids of Jupiter.
