Sweet Break Holiday Treat - Supporting Science with Cartoon Film Noir

Hi all!

As we start our three-week hiatus from the show, we are starting to create (what I hope will be) a couple/few short films.

I stumbled across a contest last weekend, sponsored by the company that makes Airhead candies. (Stay with me here!)

The contest was to develop a short light-hearted film centered around Airheads. The first prize is $2,000 and a year’s supply of Airheads.

Normally, I am a science geek, and put out science films. But, I went with more of a film noir/fantasy theme for our entry, producing a two-minute film, which was entered into the contest yesterday.

The voting contest is on! A win would help finance our science and educational films (more costumes! More sounds! More software!). And I’ll donate the candy to refugee children.
