Season Six Season Preview - The Cosmic Companion 12 January 2022
A look at what's coming up in season six, as well as our newsletter in the coming year!
Hello everyone!
As we kick off 2022, The Cosmic Companion has an AMAZING list of guests, as we head into a new chapter of our multimedia publication.
One of the biggest changes you will see to the show this year will be a move away from a focus on weekly news stories, toward a deeper understanding of astronomy and space exploration.
This week, we look at the Top Ten Benefits space exploration provides for everyone. During upcoming shows, we will examine The Milky Way Galaxy, meteorites, our upcoming return to the Moon, and more.
I am also aiming toward a video-first focus for The Cosmic Companion. Our weekly show will remain a staple, and will be accompanied by more additional mini-episodes throughout the week.
Speaking of which, The Cosmic Companion Facebook page is now home to a series of exclusive reels (short, simple videos), delivering news from space in just one minute!
As I hope you have noticed, the from The Cosmic Companion has become far more detailed and intricate (as well as more enjoyable, I hope!) over the last couple of months. Using new software, and new techniques, allows the production of (what I believe to be) a far better show.
However, this means that each episode takes twice as long as before to create. Episodes which would typically be ready on Monday for a Tuesday release are now not complete until Tuesday. This makes it impossible to send out episodes to VIP members a day in advance.
However - this gives us a chance to introduce our new VIP newsletter. Instead of one weekly extra newsletter on Mondays, our VIP subscribers will receive bonus sections to some/most editions of the newsletter. Extras will include transcripts to most scripted shows, including weekly episodes, comics as they are available, and lots of extras. We hope you’ll really enjoy it! VIP subscribers have an exclusive offer below!
