Hello everyone:
First, my apologies for not getting a VIP newsletter out yesterday. Multiple technical problems caused lighting and recording problems, which led to audio problems, and it fell into a gravitational well from there.
The good news is, as I hope you have noticed, the quality of the production has been, all in all, improving. That all takes extra time, and presents chances for error.
So, I am going to try something different this week - a newsletter for everyone with text of the main part of the show (if not the interviews) for VIP members.
We have a fantastic guest this week - Dr. Matthew Bothwell, talking about his new book, The Invisible Universe.
We also look oat the liftoff of Dart, a massive doomed world, and artificial intelligence finds hundreds of new planets:
Dr. Matthew Bothwell appears on Astronomy News with The Cosmic Companion 30 November 2021.
Remember to take a look at our picks for the best books about space and astronomy of 2021. Read book reviews in 100 words or less, and watch an original interview with each author!
Gift subscriptions to this newsletter start at just $5!
VIP subscribers can read the text of the episode (minus interviews) below.
Happy holidays, everyone!
James
