The first feature film to be shot in space is now filming. But, it's not the next Hollywood blockbuster - Challenge is being created in (and above) Russia!
Challenge — an upcoming Russian space film, is set to be the first ever shot away from the confines of Earth.

On 5 October, engines lit beneath a mighty rocket, lifting the first-ever professional film crew into orbit. But, these filmmakers were not from Hollywood, but from Russia, set to record Challenge — an upcoming feature film.
Yulia Peresild, a 37-year-old actor, lifted off from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, together with film director Klim Shipenko, and mission captain Anton Shkaplerov.
Following a manual docking, Soyuz MS-19 reached the International Space Station slightly behind schedule, at 12:22 GMT that day. This marks the first spaceflight in 21 year where every member of the crew hailed from Russia.
