An inside look at the upcoming Lucy mission to explore the Trojan asteroids of Jupiter with Dr. Cathy Olkin of SwRI!
Hello everyone!
This week on Astronomy News with The Cosmic Companion, we welcome Dr. Cathy Olkin from the Southwest Research Institute to the show. We will talk about Lucy – the first mission to explore the Trojan asteroids of Jupiter.
But first, we look in on an unusual radio signal coming from near the center of our galaxy. Next, we journey out to the International Space Station, where a signal from a smoke alarm caused concern prior to a spacewalk. Finally, we explore the Cosmos in the most-detailed virtual universe yet created before welcoming our special guest.
