Artemis 3, the return of humans to the Moon, and... Wonder Woman?

NASA intends to return humans to the Moon for the first time in more than five decades with the Artemis program.
The last time human beings walked in the Moon was in December 1972, as the airwaves were filled with Papa Was a Rolling Stone by the Temptations, Helen Reddy roared out “I am Woman” and Johnny Nash sang to us about how clearly he could suddenly see.
On 7 December, Dean Martin invited Carol Channing on his show, The Waltons was 12 episodes into its first season, and Pioneer 10 took the first close-up pictures ever recorded of Jupiter.
Today, as human beings reach out into the Cosmos, NASA eyes placing humans back on the Moon as a stepping stone to Mars and beyond.
